Some Of the Many Tribute Bands Playing At York Vaults This Year

If you are looking for an evening out at a gig, you don’t want just any old gig – you want the UltimateGig. As the foremost event agency in Leeds, we also provide gigs in York at the York Vaults, among other places, which is only 5 minutes from the centre of the city in Nunnery Lane and is renowned for being a superb live music venue.

At UltimateGig we have many different tribute bands available, and they are all top quality because we have our reputation to consider. The first of our many tribute nights at York Vaults is on May 11th and pays homage to INXS, the incredible rock band founded in 1977 and fronted by the renowned Michael Hutchence. The band played for 20 years until the death of Hutchence in 1997 and won no less than six Australian Record Industry Association awards, including “Best Group” in 1987, 1989, and 1992.

The following week, on May 18th, we have Kinda Queen, our tribute band to Queen, as you might guess. Tickets for this event are going to go fast, so you need to get your skates on if you want to get a seat at this one. A couple of weeks later there is a chance to see the Arctic Manckeys, a tribute to the Arctic Monkeys of course, those icons of the British Indie scene.

Rolling Stones

On July 5th we then have Stikky Fingers who perform as the Rolling Stones. What more can we say, other than that you can bet your boots this one will sell out fast as well. It’s amazing to consider that the Rolling Stones were formed as a band back in 1962 – that’s SIXTY-TWO years ago, and they are still going! What an evening this is going to be!

But it doesn’t stop there. As the best event agency in Leeds we are also organising further tribute evenings at the York Vaults throughout the rest of 2024, right up until December 28th. Among others are tributes to Sam Fender, Liam Gallagher, The Pet Shop Boys, Oasis, Fleetwood Mac, Pearl Jam, Kings of Leighton, and on the last Saturday of the year, Stone Roses.

You can book tickets for any or all of these events. As we always say, one of the advantages of following our tribute bands is that you get to hear the music live, as played by the original bands, but you save an awful lot of money compared with what you would pay to see the originals. That’s even if you could get tickets for them in the first place!
